How does your experience fit with Sunbasket's values?
For over ten years before joining Sunbasket I coached thousands of clients, encouraging compassionate acts of self care and celebrating progress over perfection. Sunbasket shares that philosophy. We like to keep things fun, flexible, empowering, authentic, inclusive, and culturally sensitive.
If you were to die and come back as a person or thing, what would it be?
Cali, my golden retriever puppy. Every day she lives the dream. Play, eat, sleep, repeat!
What is your approach to nutrition?
I practice gentle nutrition, a flexible framework that rejects diet culture and champions intuitive eating. I value total wellbeing (physical, mental, emotional and social) and celebrate the role food plays in each element of health. I focus on having a healthy balance of foods and nurturing a healthy relationship with food. Food is more than fuel, it’s a source of enjoyment, connection, storytelling, and traditions, which all feed into living a happy, healthy, fulfilling life.
