Impossible Foods
Gluten-Free, Vegan, Vegetarian
One bite of this protein-packed, plant-based burger and you’ll understand why it’s named Impossible Burger. For texture and flavor, it cannot be beat. Use it anytime you would use ground beef: for tacos, sliders, meatballs, and—of course—delicious burgers.
In 2011, this innovative company started work to drastically reduce humanity’s impact on the environment by replacing the use of animals in food production. We admire their ingenuity in creating delicious, nutritious, affordable, and sustainable meat made from plants.
Cooking instructions:
Burgers: In a large frying pan over medium-high heat, warm 1 tablespoon oil until hot but not smoking. Add patties and cook, turning once, until browned, 1 to 2 minutes per side.
Ground meat: In a large frying pan over medium-high heat, warm 1 to 2 tablespoons oil until hot but not smoking. Add Impossible Burger, season with salt and pepper, and cook, stirring to break up the meat, until browned and cooked through, 5 to 7 minutes.
Meatballs and meatloaf: Use as you would ground beef in your favorite beef recipes.
Soups and sauces: Impossible Burger absorbs more liquid than ground beef. Consider adding 25 percent more liquid to soup and sauce recipes for beef.
Allergens: Soybeans
