Fam-favorite homestyle macaroni and cheese got a delicious five cheese makeover, complete with rich béchamel sauce. Top your mac with cheesy panko breadcrumbs and finish it in the oven for a perfect golden-brown crust.

Ingredients: Bechamel sauce (cream - water - milk - onion - butter - enriched flour - sea salt - modified food starch - canola oil - spices), Fresh pasta (durum wheat flour - semolina flour - water), Five cheese pizza blend (mozzarella - part skim mozzarella cheese - provolone - Parmesan - Romano), Italian cheese blend (Parmesan - Romano), Panko (bleached wheat flour - yeast - sugar - salt)

Prep the pasta cooking water

Heat the oven to 450°F.

Fill a large sauce pot three-quarters of the way with water, and place it onto the stovetop. Season the water with a generous pinch of salt and bring it to a boil.

Cook the pasta

When the water is boiling, carefully add the conchiglie pasta into the pot, and cook for 5 to 6 minutes, or until the pasta is slightly under your desired doneness (it will continue to cook in the cheese sauce). Remove the pasta from the water and set aside in your pasta strainer.

Make the mac ā€˜nā€™ cheese

Place a deep, oven-safe saute pan onto the stovetop, add the conchiglie pasta and the bechamel sauce into the pan, and set the heat to medium. Gently stir together until the sauce is warm and smooth. Then turn off the heat and stir in the five cheese pizza blend until it has melted into the sauce. Season to taste with salt and pepper.

Finish the mac ā€˜nā€™ cheese

Top the mac n’ cheese with the toasted panko and the Italian cheese blend. Place the pan into the oven, and cook for 3 to 5 minutes, or until golden brown. Use an oven mitt to carefully remove the pan from the oven.

Serve

Serve family-style, directly from the saute pan.
