5 – 10 Minutes
This mix of sweet and salty nuts, seeds, and dried fruits is traditionally eaten through the long night of the winter solstice, known in Iran as Shab-e Yalda. Families celebrate the coming of the light with an all-night party that includes poetry, pomegranates (to symbolize the life cycle), and this delicious nut mix.
