About Old Dog Ranch: Walnuts are a popular garnish in the Sunbasket test kitchen; even a small handful boosts any meal’s protein and also adds heart-healthy omega-3 fatty acids and crunch. But these are no ordinary walnuts. The nuts and butters from this fifth-generation Northern California family farm benefit from a century of farming experience. Their walnuts come from an orchard that company founder Mollie Sitkin’s father planted the year she was born.
