Ingredients: 2 eggs, 6 ounces ham, 2 slices sharp cheddar, 2 croissant buns
Instructions
1
Prepare a plate
- Line a plate with paper towels.
2
Make the croissanwiches
- Set aside half of the ham slices for assembling the sandwiches. Save the rest for another use.
- Heat a nonstick saute pan over medium heat. When the pan is hot, carefully add the remaining ham slices and cook for 1-2 min on each side, or until lightly browned and heated through. Transfer to the lined plate.
- Add 1 tbsp. of oil to the pan if needed. When the oil is hot, carefully crack the eggs into the pan and season with a pinch of salt and pepper. Cook for 2 min, or until the whites have set. Gently flip the eggs and top with the sharp cheddar cheese. Cover the pan and cook for 1-2 min, or until the cheese is melted and the eggs are cooked to your liking. Turn off the heat.
- While the eggs are cooking, slice the croissant buns into top and bottom halves and toast in a toaster oven.
3
Serve
- Transfer the croissant bottoms to serving plates. Add the eggs and ham, then finish with the croissant tops.
