With a gooey, molten center and dark chocolate decadence all around, these warm Valrhona chocolate lava cakes are truly a gourmet treat. Easy to prepare in the oven or microwave, they’re delicious either on their own or served with ice cream, fresh fruit, or powdered sugar.

Choose your cooking method
Preheat an oven or toaster oven: 350°F conventional
Prepare a baking sheet: Line with aluminum foil
Remove all packaging. Place the frozen chocolate lava cakes onto the lined baking sheet and into the oven for 9 min, or until the centers are warm and runny. Carefully remove from the oven.
Transfer the warm lava cakes to serving plates.
Microwave: If you can’t wait for dessert, place the unwrapped frozen cakes onto a microwave-safe plate. Microwave at 800-watts* for 30-35 sec. (*Times may vary; adjust as needed for your appliance.)

Serve
Serve the cakes on their own or pair with a dollop of whipped cream or a nice scoop of ice cream, if you have either on hand.
